Most whiskies are aged just one time, but at Dewar’s they do things differently. Choice malt whiskies and grain whiskies are aged separately in oak casks for a minimum of twelve years.
Master blender, Stephanie Macleod, blends the matured whisky together, before ageing the blend in oak casks once more.
This extra step is where the magic really happens. The whiskies marry together to create an unbelievably smooth whisky.
