Clonakilty Irish Whiskey, Single Cask, Cask Strength, Moscatel Cask Finish, 58.1% ABV

Coastal Irish Whiskey Crafted by Nature

Clonakilty Special Limited Edition Cask Strength Single Pot Moscatel Finish is the first launch of a Cask Strength to feature their award winning Single Pot Still. Offering a nose of tangerine, vanilla and clove, a palate of orange peel with ripe stone fruits with a finish of toffee, coffee and dark chocolate.

Production:

Triple distilled in Clonakilty’s coastal distillery, this whiskey begins life in ex-bourbon barrels before a final rest in seasoned port casks sourced from Portugal’s Douro Valley. This dual maturation brings together sweetness, spice, and fruit-driven charm. Using both Single Pot Still and Single Grain whiskey, the team employ their signature ‘gentle cut’ process, gradually introducing pure spring water to create a beautifully smooth and balanced spirit.
