This 2019 Brut Nature from Mudita is defined by purity, tension and texture. A vivid expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, roughly 50/50, it’s a wine that walks the line between restraint and richness, with just 2.1g/l of residual sugar and minimal sulphur.
Expect aromas of cassis and baked bread, with flavours of Seville orange marmalade, juicy persimmon and a tangy, mineral backbone. It boasts a confident structure and a palate that’s both mouthwatering and long.
Winemaking: Produced Méthode Cap Classique with 60 months on lees. This Brut Nature is low in sulphur, naturally fermented, and bottled with minute dosage.
Pairing Suggestions: Pairs beautifully with grilled prawns, hard sheep’s cheese, roast fennel or citrus-dressed greens. A great foil for salty, umami-rich flavours.
Tasting Note: Straw-gold with a blush hue. Tangy notes of cassis and orange marmalade are layered with toasted brioche, caramel, and zesty acidity through the finish.
