“Pale straw in the glass with a flash of green and aromas of citrus and stone fruits, with a touch of custard apple and pear. Hints of soft spice, clotted cream, almond paste, white flowers, clover blossom, lanolin and stone. Just a slink of texture on the palate and a scattering of drying herbs. The acidity is slate-y and febrile, the finish stony, savoury and dry.” 91 pts Dave Brookes Halliday Wine Companion
I loved this at the Australia Day tasting. Spicy and textural, white peach and citrus with delicate spice on the finish and good crips acidity.
