Tasting Note

Wow. Sweet nose – perfumed and oaky. Impressive palate – really good length. There’s just the right level of toffeed sweetness, grippy tropical fruits and this crisp saline bite. It’s beautifully balanced with that perfect delivery of crisp exotic fruit and saltiness on the finish.

Based in the village of Avenay-Val-d’Or in the very East of the Marne Valley, this domain is currently run by 5th generation vigneron, Morgann Saintot. Committed to working in a sustainable way, the Maison is HVE certified and currently on route to organic certification. Working with 10ha of mostly Pinot Noir, Morgann vinifies his plots separately to highlight the typical characteristics of each terroir.
