Fabulous single vineyard Chardonnay from Weingut Seehof in the Rheinhessen.
Very small production. Aged 7 months in Stockinger (high quality Austrian oak) barriques.
Lovely lemony nose with nutty oak. It’s rich and textural on the palate, lemon fruit leading to stone fruits, with a nutty, creamy mid palate and finish, leesy with an almond like character. Complex and brilliantly balanced. Very classy German Chardonnay. Lovely now and will age too. A very pleasant surprise that has surprised a lot of our customers!
