Delicious dry, crisp, tangy Riesling from the Pfalz. Grown on blue sandstone hence the name! Ripe apple and lime, with some typical Germanic spice. Crisp, zesty citrus acidity makes this a lovely clean fresh example. Terrific aperitif, also good with lightly spiced Asian dishes, and of course fish. Has a minerally depth that makes this a real cut above most and is very ageworthy, though hard to resist now!
