Tomatin 1977 49% 70cl
A wildly impressive bottling from Highland single malt Scotch distillery Tomatin. Aged for 42 long years in a single ex-Sauternes barrel from Bordeaux, it’s a fascinatingly fruity yet opulently elegant perspective on this much-loved maker. The lucky buyer who cracks this open will discover all manner of vibrantly juicy notes, from pineapple and guava to green apple and hedgerow berries, plus honeysuckle, baking spices and salted caramel. Remarkable.
