The Buckingham Distillery – Navy Strength Gin – 58% – 70cl Bottle

“Our Navy strength gin packs a real punch, it’s a full flavoured, full strength variation of our distinctive Original Buckingham Distillery Dry Gin, but much more intense in flavour and potency.

TASTING NOTES:

Robust juniper and citrus at the forefront, with underlying layers of warm spice and a long, powerful finish.

Best served with a classic indian tonic and a sliver of pink grapefruit or a dash of bitters for balance.

Did you know…
The history of Navy strength gin stretches back to the 18th century, when gin was stored on British Navy ships next to gun powder. If the gin spilt and got into the gun powder, then the higher proof ensured that the gun powder still exploded.”
