One of the great reds of South Africa – Reyneke’s biodynamic Reserve Red is made from 100% Syrah that is 35% whole bunch, and then sponteneously fermented. It has aromas of aniseed, black pepper, violets and blackcurrant, and then a palate of sweet spice, dark forest berries and a wonderous balance with firm tannins. It will easily age well in your cellar for another decade.
