From the rocky shores of Nova Scotia, Red Bank was co-founded by one of Canada’s finest actor/musician exports, Kiefer Sutherland (aka Jack Bauer)! The aim was to produce a premium Canadian whisky to suit even the most seasoned whisky drinker. Master blender Michel Marcil has done a fine job, working with a core of quality Canadian wheat whisky, supported by helpings of corn and rye for a balanced, smooth profile that works a treat sipped neat, on the rocks, or in a good Old Fashioned.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Silky layers of caramel and toasted grain lead to oak char and a touch of rye spice.
Palate: Soft notes of buttery caramel and flapjack, toasty cereal, a touch of caraway and pepper in the distance.
Finish: Rich oak lingers with toffee popcorn and peppercorns.
