PONTE DEL DIAVOLO, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, 12x75cl

🍷 Ponte del Diavolo – Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso: Friuli’s Dark and Distinctive Jewel 🇮🇹
Italy, Grave del Friuli | 100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso

Bold, rustic, and deeply expressive, Ponte del Diavolo’s Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is a true taste of Friuli’s winemaking heritage. With its firm structure, wild berry character, and signature bite of spice, this is a red wine for those who love complexity with an edge.

🍒 Deep, Earthy & Savoury-Spiced:
Intense aromas of wild blackberry, black cherry, and forest floor rise from the glass, followed by hints of cracked pepper, violets, and tobacco. The palate is rich and structured, with brambly fruit, earthy undertones, and grippy tannins that lead into a long, spicy finish.

🌄 From the Heart of Friuli’s Gravelly Soils:
Grown in the stony vineyards of Grave del Friuli, this indigenous variety thrives in the cool alpine breezes and mineral-rich terroir. It’s an authentic expression of place—unfiltered, bold, and utterly regional.

🥩 Perfect with Rich Northern Italian Fare:
Pair with game, grilled sausages, venison ragu, or mushroom polenta. Also a stellar match for aged cheeses and truffle dishes.

✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Ponte del Diavolo’s Refosco is for the adventurous palate—distinctive, full of character, and unmistakably Italian. For those seeking something off the beaten path but undeniably memorable, this is a red to savour slowly.
