Oban 14 Year Old 43% Vol – 70cl –  West Highland Single Malt 

This distillery lies right on the coast in the small and picturesque town of Oban from which the distillery gets its name. 

Established in 1794 this distillery has the unique distinction of never moving from its original site nor has it expanded. 

The classic 14 Year Old has hints of the sea just a short 208 steps away from the distillery. 

Nose: Toffee and hints of sea spray, a little smoke and dry spices with a rich honey note. 

Palate: Deeply rich smooth notes mingle with hard toffee, some honey and a hint of ginger, salted caramel and sea breeze lead to a sweet note of orchard fruits and soft but rounded smoke notes.
