Germar Breton Blanc de Noirs is an experience, it’s Côte des Bar Pinot Noir at its purest: rich, focused and terroir-driven. A regular feature at Caviste events, this is the perfect way to start (and sometimes finish!) any evening.
With a brut dosage of 8 g/L, it balances crunchy almond-paste aromas and white fruit freshness; a versatile Champagne that stands up to richer fare.
This cuvée comes from 100% Pinot Noir, hand-harvested and slowly pressed to capture red fruit intensity with minimal colour extraction. Stainless steel fermentation, eighteen months on lees, then dosage, followed by six months bottle rest.
Pairing Suggestions: Poultry, game birds or Comté and Beaufort cheeses
Tasting Note: Golden-straw hue, generous nose of hazelnut, apricot and almond paste, and a round palate of white peach and crisp orchard fruit.
Origin: Côte des Bar, Champagne, France
Alcohol: 12.0%
Blend: Pinot Noir
