A delicious, light perfumed red made from the Edelvernatsch – more commonly known as Schiava. It’s a light wine, floral with cherry and raspberry.
On the palate it’s light and fresh, with juicy red fruits, but all in a restrained way. It needs to be pretty cool temperature wise, and when served cool its quite delicious and easy drinking, Tannins are soft and this alfresco, pizza/pasta wine is best drunk when young, its just such a wonderfully attractive drink.
