A deliciously treacle-like Miltonduff single malt here, this 14-year-old expression from Fruitful Spirits has been aged in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt, resulting in a compellingly dark, richly powerful Scotch. Toffee, fig and raisins dance on the nose, with praline and dark fruits set in a velvety palate. The finish is long and gently warming with spiced oak and marmalade notes. A must-sip if you love sherried Speyside whiskies.
