“A big, bold, ruby red colour with loads of cherry aromas. The palate has lovely soft tannins, more of the cherry and a little bit of raspberry.”
In 1970 Antonio Menicucci planted his first grapes, and now three generations later the family produce a range of organic, hand crafted wines which, fortunately, don’t cost the earth! (see what I did there, organic, not costing the earth… never mind!). These wines are closed with ‘Helix’ a cork stopper that unscrews like a screwcap – and then screws back in if you don’t finish the bottle!
