🍒 Marco Felluga – Collio Merlot: Northern Elegance with a Lush, Fruity Soul 🍂
Italy, Friuli-Venezia Giulia | Merlot
From the sun-dappled hills of Collio, Marco Felluga’s Merlot is a refined red that blends depth and freshness in classic Friulian style. It’s a wine of quiet richness, where ripe fruit meets silky balance and timeless Italian grace.
🍓 Plush, Bright, and Comfortingly Harmonious:
Aromas of cherry compote, red berry jam, and a hint of violet rise from the glass. On the palate, it’s supple and rounded, with flavors of black cherry and raspberry gliding over fine tannins. The finish is smooth, long, and subtly spiced, leaving a lasting impression of finesse.
⛰️ Alpine Air, Adriatic Sun:
Grown in the rolling, mineral-rich vineyards of Collio, where cool mountain breezes meet warm Adriatic light, this Merlot gains both ripeness and vibrancy. Marco Felluga’s expert hand brings out the varietal’s soft charm while preserving the structure and elegance unique to the region.
🧀🥩🍄 A Cozy Companion for the Table:
Pair with mushroom risotto, herb-roasted pork, or aged Montasio cheese. It’s a versatile red for cooler evenings, rustic dishes, and those comforting meals that call for a wine with heart.
