👁 In the Glass:
Deep garnet with purple highlights—rich, brooding, and alluring.

👃 On the Nose:
Powerful aromas of blackberries, crushed violets, black pepper, and smoked meat are laced with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, and subtle garrigue.

👅 On the Palate:
Structured and full-bodied, yet elegant. Dense black fruit and cassis flow into savoury layers of olive tapenade, iron, and earthy spice. The tannins are firm yet polished, guiding the wine into a persistent, mineral-driven finish.

🍽 Food Pairing:
An exceptional partner for roast duck, slow-cooked lamb shank, wild game, or a black truffle risotto. Decant for at least an hour to unlock its full aromatic depth.

⏳ Enjoyment Window:
Superb now with air, but capable of graceful aging over 15–25 years in the cellar.

✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Monier de la Sizeranne is a soulful expression of Hermitage—intensely Syrah, deeply terroir-driven, and meticulously crafted. Chapoutier brings out the grandeur of this iconic hillside with a wine that’s powerful, precise, and profoundly expressive.
