Longrow 100 Proof 57.1% 70cl

Longrow gets a lot of love – and with good reason. Expressive, bold and fantastically peated, it’s made by the Springbank team in honour of the once-neighbouring distillery that was closed back in 1896. For this, the 2026 Longrow 100 Proof release, classic refill bourbon cask ageing is supplemented by a two-and-a-half-year secondary maturation in Rioja red wine casks to bake in even more complexity. A fantastic single malt.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Notes of redcurrants, madagascan vanilla, tiger prawns, salami and peppercorns introduce this dram, with an ashy note present from the start.

Palate: The peat smoke builds on the palate, with notes of tobacco, cigar smoke, dark fruits and leather.

Finish: A spiciness comes to the forefront in notes of chilli peppers, along with cherry menthol and the continuation of the peat smoke.
