Matured in rum and tequila casks, lending unexpected richness to the bold, peated spirit.
The result is a whisky of vivid contrast and harmony: Maritime peat wrapped in grilled pineapple, ripe mango and bright citrus. Beneath the fruit lies a thread of earthy agave, lifted by salted vanilla, warm spice and a long, smoke-laden finish shaped by Mull’s briny air.
Ledaig Castaway is a dynamic marriage of distant sweetness and island smoke, inspired as always by Mull.
