Something special from Islay’s family-run farm distillery: Maury Cask Matured marks the first time the team has used the Roussillon fortified wine casks to age its whisky. The full maturation has imparted waves of honeyed sweetness along with sticky date and raisin notes into the peated spirit, bringing a whole new perspective to the much-loved maker. Tasting notes from Kilchoman:

Nose: Figs, raisins, and dates with salted caramel, orange peel, and soft peat smoke.

Palate: Pipe smoke and dark chocolate with layers of treacle and warming spices.

Finish: Dried fruits, cacao, earthy peat smoke, and a gentle dry spice.
