Great to have the Jules Taylor wines from Marlborough available again. This is quite delicious. Zesty and fresh with some classic vaietal Gruner pepper and spice along with the lime and stone fruits.
“The name’s a bit of a mouthful so Jules just calls it Gruner. She also describes this cool climate Austrian variety as “Imagine the lovechild of Riesling and Pinot Gris – what’s not to love?”. Layered and creamy with softened acidity and nutty nuances, this wine has delicous lemon, white peach and green apple flavours and dry palate. Take Jules’ advice and give Grüner a go.”
