The scent of smouldering peat, the warm hearth of the Highlands, and memories of times past bring us home again. Days when malt kilns cloaked barley grain in a warm smoke. This is Ode to the Embers – in celebration of the ways of the old. A richly aromatic expression of The Glendronach, presenting intertwined notes of peat smoke, with a dominance of Oloroso sherry casks for spiced complexity, enriched with the distillerys signature Pedro Ximenez casks. 

Colour – Smouldering amber

Aroma – Cinnamon spiced toffee, apple and caramelised walnut brittle intertwine with flamed orange on a smouldering open fire. 

Palate – Raisin and honeyed walnut meld with bramble ganache and smoked chocolate fudge. 

Finish – Lingering sultana, nutmeg and treacle with wisps of smoked clove.
