Artisan Gin from our Bottle Shop and Taproom:
The latest edition to the Basalt Distillery collection:Â
SIGNATURE BOTANICALSÂ
Bottled at 42.1% for a lighter drinks choice, this release is a staple of our core range. With the same unique botanical mix as our flagship product ‘Basalt Volcanic Rock Gin | 50.1%’ – this new product demonstrates the power of percentage.Â
TASTING NOTES
NOSE | Initially, very fresh citrus, followed by juniper, with hints of savoury saltiness.
TASTE | Fresh citrus, classic juniper, sharp, warm cassia and ginger spices, mellowed by buckwheat.
FINISH | Peppery spices, enhanced by tail pepper, lead to a long-lasting finish.Â
THE STORYÂ Â
Created a stone’s throw from the Giant’s Causeway, Basalt Volcanic Rock Gin is the epitome of controlled chaos.
We take basalt purified water from our 600ft borehole, use the most advanced distilling technology and apply molecular-level precision to create an unparalleled three-dimensional gin.
At Basalt Distillery, we respect the things we can’t control, while going above and beyond to harness the power of the things we can.
