Named after the beautiful old Bush Vine Grenache vineyard owned by mates of Geoff in McLaren Vale. The Grenache component in this wine is hand picked to best preserve this glorious old vineyard. They have been taking fruit from this block for many years.
The aroma is an attractive blend of plum and spice with savoury meats and black pepper. Lighter notes of cherry and violets lift with time in the glass. A smooth, fine structure gives a great first impression. The bright berry fruit on the mid palate reveals itself as the wine opens up. A very complex wine, with both freshness and development coming together to produce a smooth and drinkable accompaniment to a wide range of foods.
