Foursquare 16 Year Old Mandamus 57% 70cl
An extraordinary rum from celebrated Barbados distillery Foursquare, and one that joins the appropriately named Exceptional Cask Selection. Mandamus is made from both pot and column still distillates, and has been aged for 16 long years. Its first decade was spent in an ex-bourbon cask, before being transferred into an ex-tawny Port cask for the remainder. The result? Utter decadence, with hazelnut praline, dark chocolate and even herbal notes all set in a rich, luxurious texture.
