DOMAINE DE LATHEVALLE, Morgon, Les Charmes, 6x75cl

🍷 Domaine de Lathevalle – Morgon ‘Les Charmes’
France | Beaujolais | Morgon AOC | 100% Gamay
Style: Still Red Wine | Winemaking: Traditional semi-carbonic maceration to highlight fruit purity and freshness, followed by ageing in concrete and neutral oak to enhance texture and allow the vineyard’s character to shine
Farming: From sustainably farmed vines on the granitic slopes of Morgon’s prized ‘Les Charmes’ climat, where low yields and mineral-rich soils give Gamay depth, structure, and age-worthy elegance

🍒 A soulful Morgon—juicy, silky, and full of granite-born finesse.

👁 In the Glass:
Brilliant ruby with purple highlights—vibrant and inviting.

👃 On the Nose:
Expressive and charming. Aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry are layered with hints of violet, crushed stones, and subtle earthy spice.

👅 On the Palate:
Supple and refined. Lively red fruits glide over a silky texture, supported by fine tannins and a stony, mineral core. The finish is fresh, elegant, and lingering with a whisper of spice.

🍽 Food Pairing:
Perfect with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled salmon, or mushroom-based dishes. A versatile red that bridges rustic and refined with ease.

⏳ Ageing Potential:
Delightful now, with the potential to develop further nuance and savoury complexity over 5–7 years.

✨ Why You’ll Love It:
Domaine de Lathevalle’s Morgon ‘Les Charmes’ is Gamay with gravitas—bright, textured, and terroir-driven. A beautiful expression of Beaujolais Cru that combines fruit, finesse, and a granite-born soul.
