Daftmill 2009 UK Exclusive #026/2009 60.2% 70cl
Another excellent bottling from Fife’s family-run farm distillery, Daftmill. This UK-exclusive was drawn from first-fill oloroso butt number 26, which was filled in 2009 from a run made with home-grown Optic barley. The grain itself was harvested in summer 2006 and malted in 2007 before working its way through the distillery. Just 630 bottles of this big, bold, rich and nutty 13-year-old will ever be released, so it’s special stuff.
