D’ Arenberg, The Dead Arm Shiraz, 75cl

🍷 d’Arenberg – The Dead Arm Shiraz: Iconic Power with Polished Precision 🇦🇺
Australia, McLaren Vale | Shiraz

Bold, brooding, and unmistakably iconic, The Dead Arm Shiraz is d’Arenberg’s flagship red—a wine of immense depth, structure, and character. Named after a vine disease that cuts off one arm of the vine, concentrating energy into fewer grapes, this Shiraz is a masterclass in intensity without excess.

🍇 Dark, Savoury & Intensely Focused:
The nose is rich with blackberries, liquorice, and a whisper of charred wood. Beneath the fruit lies a world of earthy complexity—iodine, crushed rock, and hints of iron-rich soil. On the palate, it’s powerful yet precise, with sweet plums and mulberries balanced by taut acidity and firm tannins. A wine that delivers structure over weight, finishing long, clean, and mineral.

🌱 Crafted with Tradition & Tenacity:
Fermented in small batches, basket-pressed, and aged in a mix of old and new oak, The Dead Arm is made using d’Arenberg’s time-honoured techniques—allowing the full personality of McLaren Vale Shiraz to shine.

🍽️ Perfect with Bold Cuts & Savoury Meats:
Pair with roast beef, rib-eye steaks, slow-cooked lamb, or pork belly. A commanding wine for equally robust dishes.

✨ Why You’ll Love It:
The Dead Arm Shiraz is a wine of presence and pedigree—layered, age-worthy, and uncompromising. For lovers of structured reds that marry dark fruit with savoury depth, this is a showstopper from one of Australia’s most celebrated vineyards.
