D’ARENBERG, Fortified Shiraz, 50cl

🍾 d’Arenberg, Fortified Shiraz
Australia | South Australia – McLaren Vale | 100% Shiraz | Fortified Red Wine
Style: Rich, Spiced & Luxuriously Warming Fortified Shiraz

✨ A decadent and soul-warming fortified Shiraz, this wine is an indulgent embrace of spice, dark fruit, and silky spirit—crafted for fireside sipping and long, contemplative evenings.

👁️ In the Glass: Deep ruby-black with garnet edges and a dense, velvety sheen.

👃 On the Nose: Lush and aromatic with waves of fruitcake, plum pudding, brandy snaps, and warm baking spices. Notes of melted butter, dried fig, and sweet spice rise gently from the glass.

💫 On the Palate: Dense, rich, and layered with chewy tannins and concentrated flavours of ripe plums, figs, star anise, licorice, cloves, and candied citrus peel. The fine brandy spirit adds warmth, lifted floral notes of rose and apricot, and spice-driven complexity. Despite its richness, a vibrant line of acidity keeps the finish long, clean, and beautifully balanced.

🍽️ Food Pairing: Perfect with dark chocolate desserts, sticky toffee pudding, or a bold wedge of blue cheese by the fire.

⏳ Ageing Potential: 15–20+ years—this wine will develop deeper, more complex layers with extended cellaring.

💎 Why You’ll Love It: d’Arenberg’s Fortified Shiraz is like a winter’s night in a glass—comforting, powerful, and endlessly intriguing. It’s a beautifully crafted Australian classic that offers richness, structure, and elegance in equal measure.
