Distilled back in March 2004, the cask has imparted a gentle influence, letting the distillery character shine as the protagonist. Just 239 bottles have been released at natural strength – straight out of the cask with no chill-filtration or added colour.

Tasting notes from Fruitful Spirits:

Nose: Bright citrus zest, pineapple and soft vanilla over gentle toasted oak

Palate: Waxy, viscous and fruit-forward, grilled pineapple with citrus peel and light oak spice

Finish: Long, clean and lightly drying with lingering citrus, toasted barley and a hint of pine
