Craigellachie 11 Year Old Tri Carragh 52.9% 70cl
Speyside single malt distillery Craigellachie is celebrated for its rich, robust, worm tub-condensed distillate. Here, with this fascinating bottling from Tri Carragh, we get a whole new perspective on the maker. This 11-year-old was distilled back in May 2012, spending the first portion of its life in a first-fill sherry barrique. It was then reracked into an ex-Palo Cortado cask in March 2022, injecting a whole load of pink grapefruit, lemongrass, red apple and grape notes to the proceedings. A bold, juicy treat.
