The Chimay Trappist brewery has been brewing a barrel fermented edition since 2015 and each beer production has a unique taste due to the different assemblings of wood types in the barrels. The black bottle used for these barrel fermented beers improves the aging process. This Trappist beer is dark brown in colour, unfiltered and unpasteurised. It’s a limited edition Belgian Trappist beer so makes the perfect beer gift for a beer connoisseur.
