Twenty-seven to thirty years old. This X.O. includes the 1963, 1965, and 1967 distillations. No excess tannins, so this cognac retains its freshness and delicacy, with mature waves of aromas. Very complex nuances of dry flowers and dry fruits.Hints of nuts and spices.Very soft tanins with an amazing and mellow length on the palate.
“Château de Montifaud is a little gem of a cognac house doing some
delicious and well-crafted cognacs. Their XO is simply exceptional and should definitely be sought out.”
