“The 2024 El Val is super fine and elegant, the finest vintage for this superb white, going to the style of the 2021, a cooler year. It comes from an ancient plot in one of the coolest places in Valtuille with vines regrafted to old-clone Godello. It has contained ripeness, 13% alcohol, a pH of 3.15 and 7.37 grams of acidity, parameters of a very complete, fresh and vibrant white. It fermented in one 500-liter barrel, where the wine matured with the lees that were never stirred for 12 months. It has a subtle and elegant nose that is more precise and has less reduction and impact from the oak; this is cleaner, easier to understand by a wider audience, and it is tasty, with a salty twist in the finish.
