This is a lovely new wine to us, the winery is owned by Cantina Povero whose wines have become really popular. This is ripe, spicy, cherry fruited Barbera, has a touch of herb and some blacker fruits creaping in, this is a great roasted/grilled meat wine and it works really well with tomato based dishes too.
