Delicious new white from Utiel Requena in Valencia. The 2024 Las Blancas is a white blend of Macabeo, Malvasia, Marisancho, Merseguera and Moscatel matured in used 500-liter oak barrels for six months. It has a nuanced nose with herbal notes and hints of white fruit and a grapey character too. The palate is tasty and vibrant, the oak invisible and the finish clean and serious. Very good. Full of life and pretty food friendly.
