Brackla 17 Year Old 2008 Milroy’s Soho Selection 47.4% 70cl
Sometimes leaky casks lead to happy accidents – and that’s what we’ve got here with this easy, breezy, fruity release from Highland distillery Brackla. Known for its relaxed character, here there’s an extra sprinkling of oxidative maturity thanks to that leaky bourbon barrel. All this means the white chocolate, apple and sweet grain notes are rooted in something earthy, dark and complex. This is a spirited single malt that’s just as delicious neat as in a Highball.
