“Light, bright and fruity. Some red berries and then some hints of Cherry and blackcurrant. A very nice soft palate, all fruit with a little earth on the finish.”

Producer

Lacus is situated in Aldeanueva de Ebro in the Rioja Baja and is owned by Luis Arnedo. He owns 15 hectares across 7 parcels including a number of old vine parcels, planted by his grandfather. Luis works closely with his consultant and fellow winemaker, Frenchman Olivier Rivère, to produce some of the most exciting and innovative wines from Rioja Baja. Total production is just 20,000 bottles across the four wines of his Inedito (unpublished) range.
