Ben Nevis 7 Year Old 2018 Hidden Spirits BN18225 53.1% 70cl
Ben Nevis is a long-held favourite here at Milroy’s, and with good reason. It’s known for making incredibly complex, waxy distillate that shines even at a young age. What’s fascinating here is that independent bottler Hidden Spirits has aged this seven-year-old single malt in a cask that previously held peated ex-sherry whisky. There’s smoke and fruit for sure, but it’s more of a subtle infusion than an all-out peat extravaganza. A fascinating take on the power of the cask.
