The Hemina was the amount of wine the monks of Abbey Pannonhalama (and other monasteries across medieval Europe) were allowed to drink each day, despite being supposedly teetotal.
Β This blend of Viognier, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc has a floral, herby lime and citrus nose. The palate is nicely creamy, a touch smoky with some honey and stone fruit finishing dry and mineral.
