Appleton 21 Year Old Jamaican Rum
A stunning Jamaican rum here from iconic maker Appleton Estate. This particular bottling has seen 21 years of tropical maturation in oak, resulting in a stunningly elegant, beautifully balanced and complex rum.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Some soft vanilla and honeycomb, rich with a soft dark fruit aroma of plumbs, hints of ripe pear and cherry, chocolate, and soft sweet oak.
Palate: Rich and smooth notes on the palate, with a mix of dark fruits and creamy nutty flavours, pineapple and soft banana, hints of orange and cocoa nibs, demerara sugar and creamy caramel with a touch of apple and pear, soft spices and a warming lingering finish.
