Appleton 15 Year Old / 43% / 70cl Black River Casks
Nose: Soft milk chocolate with a little hint of soft fudge and golden crisp wafers, vanilla custard and soft dried summer fruits, orange, with dates and fig, caramel covered raisins and sweet oak. some soft leather and polished oak, hints of pink pepper.
Palate: Bold and abundant with great age, spices and vanilla coat the front of the palate, rich and tangy tropical fruits, some syrup, vanilla and caramel chews, pineapple and soft strawberry.
