Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Tri Carragh 55.3% 70cl

A superb single cask Aberfeldy release here from independent bottler Tri Carragh. Aged for 12 years in an STR hogshead, it’s soft, fruity and relaxed, with gentle spices adding pops of texture. Just 247 bottles have been released, making it a must-sip for Highland single malt lovers.

Official tasting notes: A nose of strawberries, banana, mango, raspberry ripple ice-cream bringing Lychee, mango Green Cardamon, chinese five spice on the palate

With water it softens into more tropical fruits like yellow melon, pear on the nose followed by a palate that’s even more mouth watering. Soft red fruits with spices still present but more subtle and warming. Medium finish.
