Château Grange Cochard is a family owned estate respectful of terroir and the environment. The vineyard of 9.5ha in the Morgon appellation is where small quantities of fine red wine are made by hand. They use grapes exclusively grown in their own vineyard, and from vine to bottle, everything is done on the estate.
Traditional semi-carbonic maceration in vat. 30% of the bunches remain whole and 70% are removed from the stalk. 70% matured in casks and 30% in barrels that are between 2 and 5 years old.
Tasting Note: An expressive and crisp Morgon with aromas of black cherries, plums
and black pepper. Soft tannins and good length. Lively and succulent, with remarkable acidity on the finish.
Alcohol: 13,5 %
Origin: Burgundy, France
Blend: Gamay
