Ried Spitzerberg “Liebkind” comes from a special 1.1-hectare parcel at the top of the Spitzerberg, planted in 2008. At 300m above sea level, the vineyard has exceptionally thin topsoil and is fully exposed to the constant winds, resulting in very low yields of small, highly concentrated Blaufränkisch berries. This extreme site produces wines of remarkable depth and concentration while retaining freshness, elegance, and the tension characteristic of Spitzerberg.
Tasting Note: Highly concentrated yet elegant, with deep dark berry and spice aromas, fine-grained tannins, and vibrant acidity. The palate is dense and structured, showing remarkable depth, tension, and a long, precise finish.
