For over 60 years the winemakers of the Cave de Turckheim have built their history with passion and enthusiasm. Today the vintages produced on the sunny slopes of Turckheim and its surroundings enjoy a noble reputation.
‘Vendange Tardive’, means ‘late harvest’ and describes the viticulture for this style of wine. The wine is only produced in specific years, when extended periods of dry weather allow the grapes to dry out on the vine, concentrating the delicious citrussy aromas.
Tasting Note: Bright and sweet on the palate, orange-blossom and delicate citrus peel flavours. Lemony acidity and a sweet, slightly pithy finish.
