A rare pure Roussanne from Hermitage that’s layered, honey and floral, with exemplary aging potential and pedigree lineage. From south-facing vineyards and low yields produce this finely textured, age-worthy white.
Winemaking: 100% Roussanne hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed, cold-settled, fermented and aged 18 months in French oak barrels (30% new) to enhance richness and aromatic depth.
Pairing Suggestions: Go all-out with a luscious Lobster Thermidor or perhaps a classic roast chicken with herbs followed by a cheeseboard featuring mature Comté.
Tasting Note: Pale gold, nose of honey, pear and acacia flowers, full-bodied, seamless texture and a long, nutty-spice finish.
Origin: Hermitage, Northern Rhône, France
Alcohol: 13.0%
Blend: Roussanne
