In the heart of the appellation Gigondas, is the exceptional Château de Saint Cosme with its Gallo-Roman fermentation vats perfectly preserved. This fantastic historical site gives a good idea how our ancestors were living, and making wine, centuries ago.
The property has been the family since 1490 and has been preserved by 14 generations of vignerons.
Selected from the finest old vines and aged for 12 months in a combination of new and old oak casks.
Tasting Note: Bright raspberry, cherry, and strawberry, coupled with a toasted, tobacco finish.
